  • 2025 Craft Fair Vendor Table-Early Bird Specials

    Calling all Crafters to participate in the 2025 St. Louis Park Senior Program Craft Fair at Lenox Community Center! Date: November 8, 2025 Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m Early Bird Pricing Early Bird pricing ends at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025 and includes (1) 6 foot table and 2 chairs at $30, max 2 tables per crafter. Regular pricing runs August 2 - October 24, 2025 and includes (1) 6 foot table and 2 chairs at $40, max 2 tables per crafter. Important Details and Reminders: - The Craft Fair will be held on the first floor and gym at Lenox Community Center. - Lenox will provide all tables with up to 2 chairs at each station. Bringing any additional tables or display stands that do not fit on top of or behind the provided table will not be allowed. - All vendors are responsible for hauling, setting up and taking down their product. There will be very limited assistance and carts available for set up and take down. - Setup will be available Friday evening from 4 - 6 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8 - 9:50 a.m. All vendors must be set up by 9:50 a.m. in order to participate. - Crafters will receive additional communication closer to the event.   • 55+ Driver Discount Program

    The 55+ Driver Discount Program is a state approved accident prevention/insurance discount class that is open to the public. This class provides you with a 10% savings on your automobile insurance premiums for 3 years! It is taught by a certified instructor from MN Highway Safety & Research Center and it provides the latest information in regards to driver and traffic safety, new laws, and vehicle technology. This class has something for everyone! You MUST register by phone at 1-888-234-1294 or online at www.driverdiscountprogram.com. Do not register through St. Louis Park Community Education. The fee for the class is $24. Pre-registration is required.
  • 5th-8th grade Ultimate Frisbee Camp

    This four-day camp for 5th-8th graders will be great for both new players wanting to try out the sport for the first time as well as experienced players hoping to sharpen their skills in preparation for the upcoming middle school fall season. Pro and college players from St Louis Park and Minneapolis will lead kids in drills, ultimate frisbee scrimmages and other fun games designed to improve throwing, cutting and defensive skills. No prior experience is necessary.

    This four-day camp for 9th-12th graders will be great for both new players wanting to try out the sport for the first time as well as experienced players hoping to sharpen their skills in preparation for the upcoming high school season. Pro and college players from St Louis Park and Minneapolis will lead kids in drills, ultimate frisbee scrimmages and other fun games designed to improve throwing, cutting and defensive skills in addition to more complex offensive and defensive strategies. No prior experience is necessary.
  • ACT Prep Course

    The ACT Prep Course consists of four, three-hour, class that meet one a day each week for four weeks. This course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review. Students enrolled in this course not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to the online course, and may repeat the course at no extra charge.

    Adult Pickleball - Beginner Instruction

    Pickleball - Beginner Instruction: Get some exercise and have some fun with the fastest growing sport in the U.S. Come learn the basics of serving, dink shots, drive shots, and volleys. Learn the terminology, rules and scoring system. And why do they call it Pickleball anyway? We will have paddles, balls, and nets to use. Bring your own paddle if you prefer. September and October classes will be held outdoors when the weather is nice at the St. Louis Park Middle School tennis courts and in the gym at Lenox Community Center if the weather is bad. We will communicate with you directly if class is going to move indoors. Please register with an email or phone number so we can contact you. November through April classes will be held at Lenox Community Center in the gym. May classes will be held at St. Louis Park Middle School Tennis Courts only with a rain make-up day scheduled for May 29, 2025. June, July, and August classes will be held at St. Louis Park Middle School Tennis Courts and moved to the gymnasium at Lenox Community Center if the weather is not favorable for playing outdoors. If there is inclement weather on June 17, a make up class will happen on June 24 due to the Lenox gym not being available on June 17.     Adult Pickleball - Intermediate Instruction

    Want to take your Pickleball to the next level? We will explore the strategy of the game including court positioning, varying your shot selection, and working in tandem with your partner. You will learn the importance of "third shot drop" and bring your dinking game to the next level. We will have paddles, balls, and nets to use. Bring your own paddle if you prefer.     Is sparkle your child's favorite color? If so, they will love this camp! They'll make brilliant, sparkly masterpieces including a portrait of a pony, a trinket box, and a painting of a butterfly. The kids will learn different art terms and techniques as they get messy with Model Magic, plaster of Paris, and more spectacularly sparkly supplies. The projects your child crafts in this camp will glitter, gleam, sparkle, and shine! Please pack your student a nut free snack and drink each day.

  • August 2025 Early Childhood Screening

    Screening is a free service required by the State of Minnesota for entrance into Kindergarten. The screening is most valuable soon after your child turns 3 years old. (3 1/2 to 4 years old is the ideal age) Screening includes a vision, hearing, and developmental assessment, as well as an opportunity to discuss any family circumstance that you feel may affect your child’s learning readiness. The screening will help identify any area your child may benefit from early childhood services before they enter school, and connect families with appropriate resources and programs. Screening takes approximately one hour to complete. * Appointments are required. Please Note: Screenings are now being conducted inside Central Early Learning Center – 6300 Walker Street, St. Louis Park, MN. 55416. Please enter door # 3 on the west side of the building. Please check-in at the office. Our August appointments are available for children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2025. Appointments for children not entering Kindergarten will be starting in September. Please complete the required forms and bring them to your screening appointment. CLICK HERE to access forms.     Learn to play the Ukulele with your family in this one-time class! You will learn about tuning, strumming, common chords, 10 songs with 2 chords plus more. Each student must bring a soprano or concert ukulele. You will receive some resources to find songs online. You will leave knowing how much fun playing the Ukulele is!     This supportive and fun mental health group for middle school students has a goal to empower each student to feel more confident in their ability to navigate life's challenges by receiving emotional support, growing confidence, and building coping strategies in an encouraging, small group setting. Through a combination of group activities, educational resources, and discussions, students will focus on building their sense of self, learning communication skills, improving emotion regulation, and setting goals for their future. If a student is unable to attend the live online training, they can still register and watch the recorded class at their convenience.
