Based in the traditions of lovingkindness and mindfulness, this heart-centered workshop provides a safe and welcoming community retreat space to intentionally explore empathy and reciprocity, the gifts of offering and receiving the generosity of the present moment. Whether you are here for process, personal healing, inspiration, insight, reasons unknown, or all of the above, this workshop, suitable for writers and non-writers alike, welcomes anyone curious about using writing as a form of meditation and meditation as a pathway to more empathetic and detailed writing. Through deepening rounds writing together to the sound of the bell, we’ll practice sending our words of support to ourselves and parts of self, each other, to people and communities known and unknown, real and imagined, near and far, venturing deeper into your subconscious and waking mind.
