Kids Place provides exceptional child care options for working families. As part of St. Louis Park Public Schools, we share the district’s commitment to provide children a safe, nurturing environment that energizes and enhances the spirit.
Guests will be picked up at Lenox Community Center at 9:15 a.m. and will travel by coach bus to Kelly's Lake House in Lake City with breathtaking views of Lake Pepin. Lunch Menu: Petite sirloin steak with potato, vegetable, roll, small dessert, coffee, tea or soda.
After lunch leave Lake City and arrive at the Winona Levee boat dock to board the Winona Tour Boat and set off on a relaxing cruise along the Mississippi River. Enjoy up-close views of this iconic waterway as the captain shares fascinating stories and insights about the river’s history, navigation channel, and the many types of commerce that travel it today. Wildlife sightings are common and may include eagles, deer, turtles, beavers, and more. With windows all around, passengers enjoy excellent views from every seat. The cabin is enclosed and climate controlled for comfort, and the cruise is professionally guided and narrated by USCG-licensed captains. A restroom is available on board.
Following the cruise, guests will depart Winona at approximately 3:15 p.m., with a comfort stop scheduled midway on the return trip to St. Louis Park. The estimated arrival time at Lenox Community Center is 5:30 p.m.
