Arrive at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) for the annual Art in Bloom exhibit!This beloved fundraising event, sponsored by Friends of the Institute, draws large crowds each year. Enjoy stunning floral interpretations of selected works of art from Mia’s permanent collection, created by more than 100 commercial florists and individual artists. Take in the fragrance of fresh blooms as you wander through the museum, and don’t miss the Art in Bloom Pop-up Shop featuring floral-inspired merchandise.
This is a self-guided experience, giving you time to explore the museum’s galleries, browse the Gift Store, or relax in the Café.

Guests will be picked up at Lenox Community Center at 9:30 a.m. and will travel by coach bus to Minneapolis Institute of Art. Guests will have until 12:45 p.m. to enjoy the exhibit and gift store before being picked up to go to lunch at Hen House Eatery in Minneapolis. Lunch menu: cup of soup made from scratch, chicken salad sandwich, beverage, and cookie. The estimated return time to Lenox Community Center is 3 p.m.
