Discover the joy of drawing with color. Learn the basics of drawing in a supportive, beginner - friendly class. Explore colored pencils, watercolors, oil pastels, and chalk pastels while creating drawings inspired by nature and still life. Please purchase materials before the first class.
*No previous drawing experience is necessary for the beginner level; the intermediate level is for students who have taken the beginner level or have previous drawing experience.
Class Materials
Jeanne Aaron was born and raised in Chicago. She studied art at The Art Institute of Chicago, received a B.F.A. from the University of Illinois, and a M.F.A. from U.C.L.A. She worked as an animator in Los Angeles. Her drawings and sculptures have been shown in galleries and museums in Chicago, San Francisco, and the Twin Cities.
