Julie Jao, artist, astrologer, banjo player and mead maker, crafted her first batch in 2014 and is currently fermenting batch number 35. Her Mead Making adventures began when she and her partner Giuliana had bees. They no longer keep bees but continue to make Mead. She practices Astrology doing natal chart readings as well as horary Astrology which is using a horoscope as guidance for specific questions. She paints fine art landscapes in oil and large expressive figures in acrylic. She also plays and teaches clawhammer banjo in the old time tradition.
