YEP is excited to introduce the magic of Fishing to the youth in our community! This program is funded by the MN DNR’s No Child Left Inside Grant. First, a professional fisherman will be visiting to teach the students how to fish and give each student a fishing pole and tackle box! We will be teaching students about the Minnehaha Watershed District and the important work they do to keep our water safe and thriving. Then we will be headed to Hyland Park to put our fishing skills to the test with the naturalists from the City of St. Louis Park.
This program is for students in grades 3-8. Space is limited, so register early!
