Nordic Pole Walking

Adult and Senior / Fitness -
Senior Program 2024-2025

Nordic walking is fun, it's easy and a great activity to share with friends. Many people are using them. By adding poles, every step turns your daily walking into a total workout. Walk tall and enjoy the benefits: Add stability and balance which will increase your heart rate 12 - 20 beats per minute over your normal walk, burn 20 - 40 percent more calories for weight control and reduction, and help with stress relief and finally you can be outside and reconnect with the natural world. Wear comfortable clothes. Walking poles will be provided to use during class. Instructor: Donna Tilsner
