Fall Yard & Garden
Preparing your lawn and gardens for fall will get them ready for success in the spring. It's a great time to take note of what worked and what you may want to do differently next year. This workshop will cover the 4 areas for fall attention, protecting your yard and garden this winter and thoughtful planting for the spring.
Join us online! This class will be held using the online platform, Zoom. Upon registering, you will receive a link to access the class. Simply click the link on the day and time of class and Beth, a Hennepin Count Master Gardner, will lead you through the class from the comfort of your own home! This online class is held in partnership with Tri-City United Community Education.
Instructor: Theresa Rooney
Theresa has been a certified Hennepin County Master Gardener HCMG since 2000. She is active in the HCMG Speakers Bureau, Leadership Team, In-service Committee, and Awards Recognition Committee and a University of Minnesota Tree Care Advisor. Her personal interests and expertise are vegetable/fruit/edible landscaping, permaculture, sustainable gardening, shade plants, and trees. (and chickens!)
She loves to answer gardening questions and talk ‘all things gardening’ whenever possible and can often be heard on the “Denny Long, Smart Gardening Radio Show on WCCO” along with other Master Gardeners and University of Minnesota Guests. You may also see her on the “Dirt Stage” at the Minnesota State Fair.
Outside of Master Gardening she is the author of “The Guide to Humane Critter Control”
