Middle School Micro C Club (LED/OLED Games)

Youth Enrichment / Middle School Classes -
Fall 2025

LED/OLED Games

  • Session 1: Yes/No Game
    • Students will first assemble, then use the concept of randomization, to program their own game. Use the secret Arduino code to outguess friends and family. Or, load a more randomized (and unguessable) sketch. This fun, yet practical, project will be the students to take home.
  • Session 2: 1D Pong Game
    • Put your game together, then use incrementation in your sketch to program a challenge game. Test your own timing and reflexes and/or have battles against both your frenemies and true friends. Once built, the game will be for each student to keep.
  • Session 3: Follow-the-pattern Memory Game
    • Make and program a microprocessor based LED Game which gets faster-and-faster; while getting more complex. Use conditional programming statements and set integers to create your own individual gam. Take your game home to improve your memory or just have fun challenging others.
  • Session 4: Catch a Falling Star Game
    • Use digital counting (zero is a number) and case structure to program a microprocessor based LED Game; which gets faster-and-faster. Take your fidget toy home and “catch” as many stars in a row as you can. This game makes a fun challenge against others. Who can catch the most stars without resetting the game?
