Screening is a free service required by the State of Minnesota for entrance into Kindergarten. The screening is most valuable soon after your child turns 3 years old. (3 1/2 to 4 years old is the ideal age)

• Screening includes a vision, hearing, and developmental assessment, as well as an opportunity to discuss any family circumstance that you feel may affect your child’s learning readiness.
• The screening will help identify any area your child may benefit from early childhood services before they enter school, and connect families with appropriate resources and programs.
• Screening takes approximately one hour to complete.

Please Note: Screenings are now being conducted inside Central Early Learning Center – 6300 Walker Street, St. Louis Park, MN. 55416. Please enter door # 3 on the west side of the building. Please check-in at the office.
