Screening at Central Early Learning Center
Fall 2024 ECFE Classes
Baklava is a traditional pastry dessert that is known for its sweet, rich flavor and flaky texture. Join us in this hands-on interactive class where you will cook virtually with Instructor Mimi, who is passionate about cooking. You will learn how to prepare a flavorful but easy Baklava dessert and you get to bake it in your own oven following your instructor’s guidelines. You will be provided an ingredient list and a link prior to class.
Join us online! This class is offered virtually and you can choose to cook along with Mimi or watch as a demonstration. You will receive an ingredient list and a link prior to class. This class is held in partnership with multiple Community Education programs.
Selam (Mimi) Ponds is very passionate about cooking in general and Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine in particular. She finds cooking very relaxing and curative beyond its culinary advantages. She has a wide experience in sharing her skills in cooking.
