This skill-building class is designed for learning a variety of crochet stitches and is suitable for novice crocheters. We will meet once a month (the 4th Tuesday of the month from April 27, 2021 - March 22, 2022) and learn a stitch technique and use it to create a crochet square. At the end of the year you will have 12 blocks (or more if you decide to make additional) that will be joined together to make a knitted throw or baby/lap blanket. Skills include: Crochet Rib, Half Double Crochet, Working in the Round, Rice Stitch, V-Stitch, Spike Stitch, Seed Stitch, Shell Stitch, Flame Stitch and more. Classes will be recorded so you can watch to reinforce and to catch up for a missed class. Participants should be comfortable with chain, single crochet and double crochet.
