After school Yoga with Camp Jnana

Camp Jnana’s After-School Yoga, is an inclusive and enriching program designed for both boys and girls. This class offers a unique opportunity for young students to unwind after a busy school day while building strength, flexibility, and mental clarity through yoga. Sessions are thoughtfully crafted to foster physical well-being, nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and a sense of community among participants.

Each class begins with mindful breathing exercises/techniques to help students center themselves and release any tension from the day. This is followed by a dynamic yet accessible vinyasa flow, designed to challenge the body and calm the mind. We incorporate playful elements and interactive yoga games to keep the experience engaging and fun for all ages.

At Camp Jnana, we emphasize the importance of self-awareness and inner wisdom. In Sanskrit, “Jnana” means “knowledge” or “wisdom.” Our program encourages students to connect with their inner selves, promoting self-discovery and personal growth. This ancient wisdom is woven into every session, helping children cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
