Brioche Starter Cowl
Adult and Senior / Arts & Crafts -
Senior Program 2020-2021
Brioche knitting is a style that creates deep, cushy, textured ribs. This simple cowl is a great introduction to 2-color brioche. The bands of garter between brioche sections create nice resting points. In the first session you will be introduced to brioche knitting and get started on the cowl. In the second session we’ll continue working and get a brief introduction to increasing and decreasing in brioche. Participants should be experienced knitters comfortable with cast on, bind off, knit, purl.
