Kyudo Japanese Longbow Archery

Influenced by the culture of Japan’s samurai warriors, Imperial Court, and Shinto and Buddhist traditions, Kyudo is practiced as a means to self-improvement. The non-competitive and introspective nature of Japanese archery allows practitioners to gain insight into their personalities. Individual instruction is given by Carly Born (Renshi 5th dan) and John Born (5th dan). Visit www.mnkyudo.org for more information.

*Instructors will collect an additional $25 to cover the cost of your own practice bow and $35 for annual membership in the Minnesota Kyudo Renmei Association. Loaner equipment provided for most adults. Open to students age 14 and up who have previously completed one session of this course.
